Donough Molloy

 Sheehan & Partners LLPDonough Molloy qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and became a Partner in Sheehan and Partners in 2007. He is a member of the European Criminal Bar Association and the DSBA. He holds a Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing from the ICA/University of Manchester. Donough has also been appointed to the panel of legal representatives by the Mental Health Commission to act for patients who are detained under the Mental Health Act.

He now leads the trial team and has particular expertise dealing with sexual offences, regulatory investigations and fraud or “white collar crime” cases. Donough has a wide range of experience to include District Court Advocacy, High Court Litigation and Judicial Review, Extradition, and Garda interviews. He also acts for clients in the Court of Criminal Appeal and Supreme Court in addition to being involved in major trial preparation for both the Circuit and Central Criminal Court.
