Caitríona Gildea
Caitríona graduated from University College Dublin with an Honours ‘Law with French Law’ degree. During her time in UCD, she undertook additional studies in Human Rights and Comparative Children’s Rights. Caitríona studied French Law for one year at Université Toulouse Capitole, where she completed a Diploma in European Union Law.
Caitriona joined Sheehan & Partners LLP in 2021 and prior to qualifying as a solicitor, she worked for a number of years in the High Court Bail & Trials Section, where she gained significant experience in the preparation and management of serious and complex criminal matters.
Caitríona now practises as an advocate in the District Court and represents client in the Circuit Court and Court of Criminal Appeal. She advises and represents clients while in Garda custody, providing clear and practical advice at critical stages of criminal investigations.
