This involves preliminary advice in all types of case, minor or major, very urgently if appropriate, and includes advising persons who are in Garda custody, on a 24 hour a day basis.

Under this heading we include Prison law, actions for prisoners’ rights, cases taken on behalf of former and current prisoners and psychiatric patients claiming wrongful detention.
This encompasses acting for members of professions who are being investigated by their regulatory bodies.
